It’s now December, and once again, we remember and consolidate our ranks to uphold human rights in the Philippines and in the world. Included in the numerous Human Rights victims are the 300 and more political detainees here in the Philippines who are suffering political persecution due to their beliefs and advocacies. Ericson Acosta, a writer and artist is one of them. Friends of Ericson Acosta, Human Rights Advocates, the Families of Political Prisoners together with the Pinoy Media Center, an independent media outfit here in the Philippines come together to restage POLDET: Panata para sa Kalayaan ng mga Detenidong Pulitikal.

In this light, we are inviting you to watch Poldet, a multi-media production about different experiences and the determination of our Filipino Political Prisoners.

More details Below.

Please reblog if you believe that Human Rights Violations should be put to a stop.
